Turkish Airlines, the national flag carrier airline of Turkey, began its journey back in 1933 and boasts a fleet of 341 aircrafts (passenger and cargo). Operating to 304 destinations in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas, it is the largest carrier in the world by number of passenger destinations. It serves more destinations non-stop from a single airport and flies to 122 countries, more than any other airline. With an operational fleet of 20 cargo aircrafts, it serves 82 destinations.

Headquartered at the Turkish Airlines General Management Building on the grounds of Istanbul Atatürk Airport in Yeşilköy, Bakırköy, Istanbul, its main base is at Istanbul Airport in Arnavutkoy, and secondary hubs are at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport and Ankara Esenboğa International Airport. Turkish Airlines has been a member of the Star Alliance network since 1 April 2008.

Business Class

Taking Turkish hospitality to the skies, the Business class aims to provide maximum comfort with fully lie-flat seats that open into a 193 cm bed. It offers award-winning food, served in porcelain tableware, and offers to adjust the meal service time on night-time intercontinental flights from/to Istanbul. It also provides preferential check-in and extra baggage allowance for its business class passengers.

Economy Class

With seats that recline up to 15 cm, featuring adjustable head and foot supports and wide legroom, Economy Class offers the most comfortable journey. It features inflight catering and entertainment system. To ensure a pleasant journey, they also provide Amenity Kit containing a sleep mask, earplugs, socks, toothbrush, toothpaste, and lip balm.

Inflight Entertainment

Their inflight entertainment system features music from classical to pop, action to comedy movies, fun games, and news channels. They also offer specially prepared toy sets for younger passengers for a fun inflight experience. Their inflight magazine, Skylife, contains a wealth of fascinating information, unravelling new countries, cultures, and Turkish Airlines routes.

Web Check-in

This service allows passengers to avoid the long queues at the check-in counters at the airport, facilitate online/web check-in (offered 24 hours prior to the departure and up to 90 mins before the departure) on the official Turkish Airlines’ website, and complete their pre-flight formalities. The passengers can also reserve their preferred seats before the flight. Mobile check-in is also offered, and mobile boarding pass facility is also available in most of the cities and at many airports across the globe.

Hotel and Accommodation Service

The Turkish Airlines provide exclusive hotel service to passengers travelling between international points and transferring from Turkey. It also offers accommodation services to passengers flying from outside Turkey who have connecting flights departing from Istanbul Airport to their onward destination outside of Turkey.
